I’m new with APIs and was wondering if there is an endpoint (think that is the right word?) for searching on say just the dogs temperament, so for example I’m looking for all dogs that have an alert temperament, don’t care what the breed is but would like all the dogs returned that have the alert temperament.
Is this possible?

That’s a great suggestion, and it’s been added to the roadmap for release in the next update
